Nottingham hospital bosses have explained a shot of 24 Hours in A&E that left many viewers scratching their heads. In the last episode of the Channel 4 show, which was filmed at Queen's Medical Centre (QMC), some were left confused by a brief moment when a dummy was being wheeled through a corridor by a staff member.
The mannequin, which had its eyes closed, was tucked into a bed and was wearing a face mask. The shot only lasted seconds and appeared approximately halfway through the episode, which aired on January 24.
However, some felt that it should have been explained. "I clearly observed a nurse pushing a trolley with a DUMMIE on it. I assumed that the narrator would go on to tell us all that this was a training exercise," wrote one social media user.
In response, Nottingham University Hospitals, which runs QMC and City Hospital, said it was just being used for training and happened to feature in the show.
