Twenty-three persons were injured in jallikattu organised at Periyakulathupatti village near Vaiyampatti in Tiruchi district on Thursday. As many as 750 bulls were released during the course of the event in which 325 tamers participated. The police sources said 21 among the injured were treated as outpatients at the event venue while the remaining two injured persons were referred to the Government Hospital, Manapparai.
