A 22-YEAR-OLD was found dead in central Aberdeen on Monday night.
Police were called to a wooded area off South Crown Street in Ferryhill at around 8:45pm on July 10.
Two other streets, Bank Street and Marine Terrace, were closed while emergency services attended the call.
Although an ambulance was dispatched, police said the young man had already died.
Officers added that the next of kin had been informed, although the person has not been publicly named.
They also said there were no suspicious circumstances around the death.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 8.45pm on Monday, July 10, we were called to reports of concern for a 22-year-old man at a wooded area off South Crown Street, Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended, but the man had died. His next of kin have been informed.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances, and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
