22 Kids and Counting dad Noel Radford, 52, 'retired' in the latest episode of the show - leaving some viewers unimpressed.
The father of Britain's biggest family runs his own bakery, but decided to make his last loaf to spend more time with his family.
At the start of the Channel 5 show, the father-of-22 admitted it was time to call it a day at Radford Pie Company in Morecambe, which he's owned since 1999.
He even had his daughter Chloe, 27, and son Luke, 22, compete to see who was should take over the family business.
But after finding retirement "boring", Noel eventually had to beg his kids to give him his job back.
Fans slammed the episode, with some saying the baker never had any intention of retiring.
Despite telling his wife Sue, 47: "No more getting up early. Hang up my gloves, time to move on," Noel was back to baking by the end of the show.
"What a load of nonsense. We all know he’s not retired," one viewer said.
Another quipped: "This week Noel’s pretending he’s going to retire."
While a third said: "These forced storylines are ruining the show. As if he’s going to hand his whole business over to his daughter whilst she’s on maternity leave or son who can’t make a pie without burning it."
It's not the first time the family have been slammed on the show.
Earlier this month Noel and Sue were complaining about the cost of living crisis as they struggled with their smart meter.
Fans reckon they had to 'stop watching' the programme after the couple protested about their bills.
The family had just got back from a trip to Florida when Sue fumed: “It’s ridiculous. I’m sure I put £50 on that yesterday morning. This is getting beyond a joke, it really is ridiculous.”
Noel added: “We have a top-up thing which we like. It’s handy because you keep on top of your bills and you don’t run up a big bill, but it’s just getting crazy stupid, we feel like we’re down the shop every day topping up.”
However, fans couldn't believe the duo were complaining about their bills when they had just taken their huge brood to Florida.
One viewer said: "Love that the Radfords are complaining about the cost of living a few episodes after their £20k+ trip for 26 of them to Florida and a new motorhome… pull the other one #22kidsandcounting."
