The country registered 39 more Covid-19 fatalities and 21,232 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Wednesday morning.
There were 21,064 local cases and 168 imported ones.
The latest 39 fatalities were between the ages of 28 and 95 years.
On Tuesday, 16,662 Covid-19 patients left hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.
Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 2,770,793 Covid-19 cases, including 547,358 cases this year, with 2,574,458 complete recoveries to date.
The death toll stood at 22,730 since the beginning of the pandemic, including 1,032 so far this year.
