The country registered 21,088 more Covid-19 cases and 91 new fatalities during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Tuesday morning.
The figures did not include 10,884 positive results from antigen tests over the past 24 hours. This would raise the total to 31,972.
The 91 new fatalities were between the ages of five months and 96 years old and included a Myanmar national.
Of the new infections in the general population, 20,710 were confirmed at hospitals and 261 via mass testing.
Bangkok had the most new cases at 3,286, followed by 1,076 in Chon Buri, 925 in Nonthaburi, 884 in Samut Prakan, 679 in Nakhon Si Thamnarat, 629 in Samut Sakhon, 583 in Nakhon Pathom, 518 in Buri Ram, 517 in Rayong and 491 in Songkhla.
The 93 imported cases came from 22 countries and included 26 from the United Kingdom, 12 from Cambodia, nine from Saudi Arabia, seven from Germany and four from Finland.
