Organiser Colin Saul said: “It was fantastic. A lot of people have said it was the best ever.

“We had a lot of regulars and also a lot of new people and they all enjoyed it. People were getting involved with our installations and it was just fabulous.

“I couldn’t do it on my own. There are a lot of helpers. It is hard work but so rewarding.”

This was the first art and crafts trail since Colin’s wife, Pauline, passed away in December.

He added: “A lot of people knew her and wanted to talk about her. It was a bit sad at times but she wanted it to continue.”
