Fans around the country are making their plans and arrangements for Wild Card Weekend. There will be a total of six games played during the first weekend of the 2025 NFL Playoffs, with 12 of the 14 qualified teams playing in Round 1.
If you’re hoping to catch some live postseason action this year, the coming weekend will be your best bet in terms of ticket prices. The cost of attending games will only increase as the stakes get higher, with teams like the Detroit Lions anticipating big price tags for their upcoming home games in the later rounds.

2025 NFL Wild Card Tickets: Which Games Are Most Expensive?
The priciest game will take place in Philadelphia. The hometown Eagles will start their Super Bowl push by hosting the Green Bay Packers, a matchup between teams that notched 14 and 11 regular season wins, respectively. It will be a rematch of their Week 1 meeting that took place in São Paulo, Brazil, which Philly won by a score of 34-29.
This time around, the cheapest get-in price for a single ticket to this contest is currently sitting at $184, more than double the price of the least expensive Wild Card game.
Chargers @ Texans | $86 |
Vikings @ Rams | $98 |
Commanders @ Buccaneers | $112 |
Broncos @ Bills | $115 |
Steelers @ Ravens | $136 |
Packers @ Eagles | $184 |
The divisional rivalry matchup between the Steelers and Ravens, set to be played in Baltimore, has the second-highest get-in price. Despite featuring the largest spread of any of this weekend’s games (Ravens -10), the third matchup between the two sides this season is still an expensive one to attend. The lowest price for a single ticket currently sits at $136, still more than $20 higher than the next game on the list.
This year’s numbers are higher than last seasons, except for one outlier. The cheapest ticket to the 2024 first round matchup between the Lions and Rams had an insane get-in price of $337. It not only featured a team and fan base starving for success and for something to cheer about, but was the first playoff game hosted in Detroit in 30 years, and their third since 1957. The price was more than three times that of the next-highest (Packers @ Cowboys – $108).
Which Games Are The Cheapest?
The cheapest game for the 2025 NFL Wild Card Round will be played in Houston. The Texans are limping into the playoffs having gone 4-5 in the latter part of the regular season, and will take on a Los Angeles Chargers team that isn’t exactly known for its traveling fan base. The get-in price is listed at $86, and is one of only two games that will cost less than $100 to attend.
The other sub-$100 contest will be the one between the Vikings and Rams, set to be played in Los Angeles. As of Tuesday morning, the get-in price was listed at $98.
Both figures are high in comparison to last year, but again because of some special circumstances. The least expensive Wild Card game in 2024 was the one between the Dolphins and Chiefs, which was played in -4 degree temperatures in Kansas City. It was the fourth-coldest NFL game ever, and it was reported that some fans were even taken to the hospital due to the frigid weather. The cheapest ticket was priced at $42.
The second-cheapest game last year was also affected by weather. The Bills and Steelers were originally supposed to play on a Sunday at 1pm, but a massive snow storm buried Buffalo and made travel dangerous. The game had a cost of $84 to attend, but probably would have been higher had it not been for the threat of a blizzard.
Last season’s average get-in price for Wild Card Weekend was $125, buoyed by the Lions’ high prices. This season, the average is down slightly, coming in at $121.
