The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the fifth overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft and have 10 selections in total, which includes multiple picks in rounds three, four, and six.
The opportunity to add young ascending talent to the roster will certainly be there for the Jaguars and their new general manager.
With having the fifth pick in the draft, there is already a shortlist of prospects that many draft analysts have honed in on for the Jaguars. Cornerback, defensive tackle, and occasionally the offensive line are the three big positions we see being addressed in the first round.
However, ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. did float the idea out there of the Jaguars trading back from the fifth pick in order to address the safety position–arguably their biggest need this offseason.
