Wildfire Relief Efforts
Despite the recent wildfires in the Los Angeles area, the 2025 Grammy Awards will proceed as planned with a heightened focus on supporting wildfire relief initiatives. The Recording Academy has condensed its pre-Grammy week events to four, each featuring fundraising elements to aid in the relief efforts. Various music industry entities, including Universal Music Group, BMG, and Warner Music Group, have redirected their resources from Grammy-related events to support wildfire relief and rebuilding efforts.
MusiCares, an organization that assists music professionals in need, will continue with its annual Persons of the Year benefit gala, honoring the Grateful Dead this year and pledging additional support for wildfire relief.
