The 2025 Audi A6 E-Tron has landed in North America after debuting in Europe last summer. With a maximum EPA-rated range of 392 miles, the new A6 E-Tron is the longest-range EV in the German automaker’s American portfolio, significantly one-upping the Q6 E-Tron’s 321 EPA-rated figure.
That said, both the A6 E-Tron and Q6 E-Tron are based on the same Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture that allows the battery pack to be nestled low in the floor, which should help with rear passenger comfort because they don’t have to sit with their knees up.
Speaking of the battery, there’s just one option for the A6 E-Tron: a 100-kilowatt-hour (94.4 kWh net) that can accept up to 270 kW from a powerful enough DC fast charger for a 10 to 80% state of charge top-up in as little as 21 minutes.
The pack is rated at 800 volts, and the maximum charging speed can be achieved when connecting to an 800V DC fast charger, but the electric A6 will happily accept power from older, 400V chargers, too. When this happens, the battery is split into two 400V banks that can be charged in parallel at up to 135 kW. When hooked up to an AC charger, the electric sedan can accept up to 9.6 kW from a 240V Level 2 supply at 40 amps.
The base 2025 Audi A6 E-Tron comes with a single, rear-mounted 375-horsepower rear electric motor. It starts from $67,195 (including destination) for the entry-level Premium trim and goes up to $73,495 for the top Prestige version. The maximum range of 392 miles can only be achieved by the rear-wheel drive variant when equipped with 19-inch wheels and all-season tires.
What’s interesting is that Audi’s Android Automotive OS-based infotainment system offers a pretty long list of features for zero money on top. The basic Connect Care package doesn’t require a subscription and comes with remote start, remote lock and unlock, remote interior preconditioning, remote vehicle status, remote charging management and roadside assistance.

Two more connectivity options are available. Connect Nav, which comes with a three-year free trial, adds satellite imagery, real-time traffic information, charging station availability information, online parking information and an advanced 3D city view. Then, there’s the Connect Plus level, which adds a Wi-Fi hotspot, online radio and Audi’s App Store. A six-month free trial is included for the latter.
If more power is what you’re looking for, there’s a 465 hp dual-motor version of the electric sedan dubbed the A6 Sportback E-Tron Quattro. It starts from $69,195 (including shipping). It can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 130 mph. Meanwhile, the EPA-estimated range is 377 miles when equipped with the optional Ultra package.
There’s also a performance-oriented version called the S6 E-Tron Quattro. It ups the power figure to 543 hp and lowers the zero to 60 mph time to 3.7 seconds, while the range is rated at 324 miles when equipped with 20-inch wheels. It starts at $79,995 and comes as standard with 20-inch wheels, a rear-biased AWD system and an adaptive sports suspension system. All A6 E-Trons come as standard with a panoramic glass roof with switchable transparency.
Deliveries of the 2025 Audi A6 E-Tron in the United States are scheduled for this summer. In North America, Audi will only sell the Sportback body style. In Europe, there’s also a more practical Avant wagon version.
