Apprentice Betting Odds 2025 Suggest Former Tradesperson Of The Year Winner Dean Franklin Has A Chance
Air conditioning boss Dean Franklin has been installed as one of the early favourites, according to the Apprentice betting odds 2025.
Frankin, who is from Essex, describes himself as a family man that set up his AC company during the pandemic.
Golf lover Franklin also seems to have some decent credentials – seeing has he also won the best tradesperson award at the 2023 Havering Small Business Awards.
“I’m a proud father to two beautiful children and I’m a husband. I’m a family man,” he said.
“I started from the bottom and worked my way up, now owning my own company – we are an award-winning company. We’re doing really well.”
“I’ve always wanted to put myself in uncomfortable situations and get comfortable with being uncomfortable. I’ve always wanted to test myself.”
Dean has also likened himself to Lord Sugar – saying he feels there are similarities between himself and the main man.
Plus Franklin also the latest contestant to claim he’s also got the ‘gift of the gab’ that many feel is what’s need to go far in the Apprentice – we’ll find out if that’s true, or just a load of waffle.
The Apprentice odds 2025 see Dean Franklin installed as the 9/1 second favourite.
SportsCasting’s Andy Newton, reacted to our 2025 Apprentice odds saying:
“18 more hopefuls will be trying to win over Lord Sugar as we brace ourselves for the 19th instalment of the Apprentice and after a run of five women winners I think ‘Girl Power’ will run out this time.
“Of course, until we see the latest batch of potential Apprentices in action it’s hard to make a call.
However, looking at the profiles, Dean Franklin from Essex is the latest hopeful to claim he’s got the ‘gift of the gab” and has also said “I honestly believe me and Lord Sugar are very similar”.
Yes, all this could just be pre-show blurb, but having already won a ‘tradesperson-of-the-year’ title the air conditioning company owner could be the ‘coolest customer’ in the boardroom with that experience.
The Last FIVE Apprentice Winners Have Been Women
Does Lord Sugar prefer to go into business with the ladies?
It seems that way if his list of past winners are anything to go by – as ALL of the last five have been female.
Last year gym boss Rachel Woolford carried on this run – with the last male winner being James White in 2017 and that that was even a shared victory with Sarah Lynn.
The last outright male winner was Joseph Valente in 2015 – who set up Trade Mastermind.

She walked away with Sugar’s £250k investment, plus the chance to be montored by the famous businessman.
Her business plan was to expand her current boutique bym brand North Studio that are in Leeds and Harrogate.
Woolford said after winning “The hard work, not just in the tasks, but in the interviews, and in the pitch that Phil and I did, it was all worth it. All the hard work and the emotions that came with it, and I just can’t wait to expand further and do what I do best, which is delivering these inclusive fitness classes and showing people that fitness can be fun.”
