Following another disappointing loss in Week 6, the Denver Broncos remain on track to secure a top-three pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
If the 2023 season ended today, the Broncos would hold the third overall pick in next year’s draft with a 1-5 record. The only winless team remaining, the 0-6 Carolina Panthers, previously traded their first-round pick to the Chicago Bears.
So right now, the 1-5 Bears are on pace to have the first two picks in next year’s draft. Three other teams besides Denver and Chicago are also 1-5, but they are lower in the order based on a strength of schedule tiebreaker.
Here’s a look at the current order of the top-ten NFL draft picks for 2024, courtesy of Tankathon.com.
1. Chicago Bears (via Panthers, 0-6)
2. Bears (1-5)

4. Arizona Cardinals (1-5)
5. New York Giants (1-5)
6. New England Patriots (1-5)
7. Minnesota Vikings (2-4)
