Friday morning, Ohio State star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was scheduled to address the media at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. However, Harrison decided to pass on his media appearance as supported via the combine.
Harrison is currently the top receiver in the 2024 NFL draft but has Washington’s Rome Odunze and LSU’s Malik Nabers closing fast. Today’s actions don’t automatically mean Harrison won’t speak to the media but it will be on his terms.

What will this mean for Harrison? Not a thing. My best guess is he knows exactly which team is planning to draft him (my guess is the Arizona Cardinals) and they’ve told him to just lay low so no teams want to trade ahead of us to draft you and you can come play with Kyler Murray. The reality is there are also going to be special rules for special players and the entire combine is unfolding like that.
