The New York Giants entered their Week 16 Christmas Day matchup as heavy road underdogs against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The game was much closer than many anticipated but the Giants fell to the Eagles, 33-25, dropping their record to 5-10 and eliminating them from postseason contention.

While general manager Joe Schoen seems pretty committed to Daniel Jones, if he feels there is a desirable talent at QB, picking in the top five could get the Giants close enough to trade up territory.
The Giants have plenty of needs on the roster so the great debate over targeting a quarterback will likely continue from now to the spring.
As much as Giants fans would have loved to beat the Eagles, having Big Blue slated with a top-five pick is a nice silver lining.
