2024 NFL Draft: Five potential landing spots for Marvin Harrison Jr.

With both the college football and NFL seasons now in the rear view mirror all eyes move to the offseason and the NFL draft in April.

There’s always a lot of debates on different prospects among the media and fans this time of the year, however one player most analysts can agree on as an exceptional prospect is Ohio State wide receiver, Marvin Harrison Jr.

Harrison was one of the best players in college football over the last two seasons.  His combination of explosiveness, change of direction, and speed at his size is rare. That, combined with his elite technical ability as a route runner and ability to make catches through contact, and it’s hard to see him lasting past the first four or five selections on draft night.

Buckeye fans will be ecstatic to watch what the star wide receiver can do at the next level. Here are five teams with the best chance of landing him.

Arizona Cardinals

First Round Pick: 4th Overall

The Cardinals currently appear to be the most likely landing spot for Harrison. If quarterbacks come off the board with the first three picks the star receiver would be the heavy favorite to be the pick for the Cardinals.

New England Patriots

First Round Pick: 3rd Overall

The Patriots may look to find their quarterback of the future with the third overall pick.  However, building up the rest of the roster before investing in a quarterback is another option and Harrison Jr. would be a great building block for the future.

Chicago Bears

First Round Pick: 1st Overall, 9th Overall

The Bears have a big decision to make with the first overall pick.  If Chicago decides to roll with Justin Fields as their franchise quarterback moving forward adding Harrison Jr. to their offense would be very exciting.

Los Angeles Chargers

First Round Pick: 5th Overall

The Chargers have a need for more offensive talent surrounding Justin Herbert.  If Harrison Jr.’s still on the board at five it’s hard to imagine them passing on the chance to pair him with Herbert.

New York Giants

First Round Pick: 6th Overall

The Giants are currently are unlikely landing spot for Harrison Jr. however every year the NFL draft proves to be unpredictable.  With the Giants lack of talent at wide receiver they would be thrilled to land the star receiver.
