The 2024 NFL combine is now underway in Indianapolis as the nation’s top NFL draft prospects preform in front of league personnel. This is the first chance for 2024 NFL draft prospects to prove they should garner a high pick.
Beyond the on-field drills, players also have opportunities to interview with potential teams and speak with attending media members. Georgia defensive back Javon Bullard was among the Bulldogs to do so on Thursday.
Bullard was a force to be reckoned with in over the last two seasons in a talent Georgia secondary. In 2022’s national championship season, he earned Defensive MVP honors in both the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Peach Bowl and the national championship game.
Bullard was named second-team All-SEC in 2023 after racking up 56 tackles (third-most on the team) with two interceptions and five pass breakups in 12 games. Last season was Bullard’s first at safety after starting at the nickelback, or STAR, position the majority of the 2022 season.
A reporter asked Bullard what he can bring to an NFL team and his answer was as straightforward as they come.

Bullard is one of 11 Bulldogs at the event this week. He’ll preform with the other defensive backs, including teammates Tykee Smith and Kamari Lassiter, on Friday starting at 3 p.m. ET. You can watch full coverage on NFL Network.
