The 2024 Grammy Awards are just around the corner, and Spotify's annual pre-Grammy party held at Paramount Studios provided a sneak peek into some of the best new artists to watch out for. The event showcased a diverse lineup of talented musicians across various genres and generations, captivating the audience with their exceptional performances and undeniable charisma.

One of the highlights of the evening was the soulful country duo, The War and Treaty, who kicked off the night with their powerful rendition of 'Blank Page.' Their heartfelt performance set the stage for an unforgettable evening of music.

Another standout artist of the night was Coco Jones, a nominee for five Grammys and recent EP release. Jones wowed the audience with her energetic performance of 'Crazy For Me,' turning it into a spirited singalong of Beyoncé's hit song, 'Crazy In Love.'

Gracie Abrams, known for her poignant acoustic songs, delivered a heartfelt performance that resonated with the crowd. Her introspective lyrics and soulful vocals showcased her immense talent and left a lasting impression.

Jelly Roll, a breakthrough country musician, took the stage with undeniable charisma. Backed by a full band, including a banjo and lap steel player, he entertained the audience with his infectious energy. Jokingly referring to his own appearance, he humbly thanked the crowd for their support and brought out the two-time Grammy-nominated Lainey Wilson for a special performance of their hit track, 'Save Me.'

Victoria Monét, a nominee for an impressive seven Grammys this year, graced the stage with her unique blend of smooth R&B. Keeping it short and sweet, she set the room on fire with her performance of 'On My Mama,' one of the standout tracks from last year.

Noah Kahan, with his charismatic presence reminiscent of the most captivating performers at a local open mic, introduced his folky band as 'Mumford and Sons' before moving into his soulful performance of 'Everywhere Everything.' To the delight of the crowd, he brought out Gracie Abrams, showcasing their camaraderie despite competing for the same award.

The headlining act of the night was none other than Ice Spice, who electrified the stage with her infectious energy. Performing her latest single, 'Think U The S—- (Fart),' she brought a unique flavor to the evening. Following that up with 'Deli,' she solidified her status as the patron saint of New York City.

The Spotify pre-Grammy party provided a mesmerizing glimpse into the rising talent in the music industry. With artists from different backgrounds, genres, and generations, the event celebrated diversity and showcased the incredible talent that is set to take the music world by storm. As fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming Grammy Awards, these performances left no doubt that the best new artists nominees are all forces to be reckoned with.
