The bracket is set. It’s time to play some postseason games.
The Oregon Ducks are the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff. After finishing the season undefeated, Oregon capped off a successful regular season with a win in the Big 10 Championship over Penn State.
The top four seeds are No. 1 Oregon (Big 10), No. 2 Georgia (SEC), No. 3. Boise State (MWC), and No. 4 Arizona State (Big 12). All four teams earned a bye after winning their respective conferences.
Clemson was the fifth conference champion, earning the automatic bid by winning the ACC.

The first round will be played on the sites of the higher-ranked teams.
First round (Dec. 20-21)
- Friday, Dec. 20: No. 10 Indiana at No. 7 Notre Dame | 8 p.m. ET | ABC/ESPN
- Saturday, Dec. 21: No. 11 SMU at No. 6 Penn State | 12 p.m. ET | TNT/MAX
- Saturday, Dec. 21: No. 12 Clemson at No. 5 Texas | 4 p.m. ET | TNT/MAX
- Saturday, Dec. 21: No. 9 Tennessee at No. 8 Ohio State | 8 p.m. ET | ABC/ESPN
The winners of each game advance to the quarterfinals, which will be played at New Year’s Six locations. The teams will not be reseeded, meaning the potential matchups below will not change.

- Fiesta Bowl, Tuesday, Dec. 31: No. 3 Boise State vs. No. 6 Penn State/No. 11 SMU winner | 7:30 p.m. ET | ABC/ESPN
