The New York Giants finished the 2022 regular season with a 9-7-1 record and earned the 6th seed in the NFC Playoffs.
That means they will not be selecting in the top 10 at this year’s NFL draft. They have selected in the top 10 in six of the eight most recent drafts — a testament to how far this franchise has fallen.
This year, the Giants will select no worse than 23rd overall, according to Tankathon.
The pick is actually the 22nd in the first round as Miami, holders of the 22nd overall selection, have forfeited their first-rounder this season and their 2024 third-round pick as punishment for violating league policies pertaining to the integrity of the game.
The Giants have nine picks in the upcoming draft and could possibly be awarded compensatory selections on top of those.
