They’re no longer college prospects; they’re NFL rookies. The 2023 NFL draft is in the books, and we now have a clear idea of what a lot of the team rosters and depth charts will look like when training camps open. It also means we can now better project fantasy rookie values with their new teams. With that said, here’s my updated look at every position as we inch closer to the summer.
I’ve used a full-point PPR scoring system for these rankings, which highlight long-term, dynasty formats. At quarterback, Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud were the first signal-callers picked in the actual draft, but I like Anthony Richardson as the top dynasty option at the position. Mobile field generals can be gold in fantasy land.
Among the running backs, I’m expecting rookie Bijan Robinson to make a huge Year 1 impact in Atlanta. In fact, he’s my third overall dynasty player. Jahmyr Gibbs will have to avoid the now dreaded “Curse of Barry Sanders,” but he landed in what should remain a high-octane Lions offense and should be the main man long term.
At tight end, I’ve ranked Dalton Kincaid as the best dynasty option with Michael Mayer second and Sam LaPorta third. If you still like Mayer, I won’t argue with you. He landed in a great spot in Las Vegas, but Kincaid in Buffalo with Josh Allen is nice, too. The position has a lot of good young players with upside, so it’s up to them to meet expectations and turn themselves into future fantasy stars.
