For those of you who have yet to catch up, the game of softball has surpassed the interest in college baseball over the last couple of years. We’ll always love the great American pastime at the college level, but softball has garnered more ratings and more interest as of late.
And so it is, that the Ohio State softball team is looking to make a run in the Big Ten softball tournament as the No. 6 seed. It needed to be a top-four seed to earn a bye, so it’ll have to play an extra game to get into the quarterfinals where it hopes to do some damage.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsAll told, twelve of the fourteen teams make the conference tournament, with Michigan State and Purdue being left out of all the fun that will take place in Champaign, Illinois, on the campus of the University of Illinois.
