A new crop of athletes for the revived league.

The USFL took a big next step toward its revival on Thursday by conducting a ten-round supplemental draft, which ended up being another big day for former Mountain West football stars.

The conference had six selections on the first day of the full USFL Draft and a dozen more on the second two weeks ago, but the big difference in these six picks is that there were no position pools this time, meaning that USFL teams were able to select athletes as they saw fit to fill out the roster.

Where the Michigan Panthers and Pittsburgh Maulers led the way in the initial draft, the supplemental selections allowed every USFL team to finally have at least one former Mountain West player on its roster. Birmingham, New Orleans and Philadelphia were the last holdouts.

Birmingham Stallions

Ryan Williams-Pope, OL, San Diego State — round 1, pick 3

New Orleans Breakers

Turner Bernard, LS, San Diego State — round 7, pick 2

New Jersey Generals

Mike Bell, S/LB, Fresno State — round 3, pick 3

Philadelphia Stars

Gabe Sewell, LB, Nevada — round 7, pick 4

Pittsburgh Maulers

Ramiz Ahmed, K, Nevada — round 7, pick 3

Tampa Bay Bandits

Tyler Rausa, K, Boise State — round 5, pick 5
