NEW YORK — The 75th annual Tony Awards, honoring the best and brightest from Broadway’s 2021-2022 season, have started at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.
A trio of new musicals — “A Strange Loop,” with 11 nominations, and “MJ” and “Paradise Square,” tied with 10 — lead a field of plucky and powerful productions that persevered through the bumps of COVID-19.
