From the start of the season to the bye week the offense of the Cleveland Browns was one of the most efficient in football. With journeymen quarterback Jacoby Brissett leading the charge that is a pretty impressive feat. That’s not to take anything away from Brissett because he played hard and gave the team everything he had.
There were some struggles after the bye but the numbers show that in obvious passing situations, the Browns’ success was about average. The Browns invested what they did in Watson to make sure going forward that they are successful rather a team is expecting it or not. They will need Watson to do that in 2023 if they want the season to be successful.
