The last PGA Tour event of the year that awards FedEx Cup points is here, as the best players in the world are in Georgia for the RSM Classic at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island.
For the first two days, players will play both the Seaside Course and Plantation Course before the Seaside Course is used for both weekend rounds.
After his four-shot win last week, Tony Finau enters as the betting favorite at +900. This will be Finau’s second RSM appearance but first since the Plantation Course was added to the rotation in 2015.
Jason Day, one of the other marquee names in the field, sits at +2000 after four quality starts in a row (T-8, T-11, T-21, T-16).
*Finau withdrew from the event Tuesday due to injury

Betting preview
Last week (Houston Open)
Not a great week in Texas. Jason Day was my highest finisher at T-16 but another week without the outright winner.
Down four units on the week, up 26.5 units for the season.
If you’re interested in my full card every week, it’s posted on my Twitter sometime Wednesday afternoon. Follow me here.

Jason Day
I will not stop betting on Jason Day until he gives me a reason.
He’s finished T-21 or better in four straight starts after missing the cut in his first event of the new season. Day missed the cut here last season but tied for 12th in 2020.
Bets to consider: Outright (+2000), Top 20 (+170)
Keith Mitchell
It’s a home game for Keith Mitchell.
After a few disappointing starts to open the season, Mitchell played consistently in Houston and finished the week inside the top 10 (T-9). Over the past three seasons, Mitchell has finished inside the top 15 at the RSM twice (T-12 in ’21 and T-14 in ’19).
Bets to consider: Outright (+3000), Top 20 (+190)
Joel Dahmen
Despite his performances over the years, this feels like an event Joel Dahmen can thrive at. It’s short, requires target golf and the field isn’t loaded with stars.
Dahmen has four top-20 finishes in his last five starts, including top 10s in his last two. Last season, he grabbed a top 30 at the RSM.
Bets to consider: Outright (+4000), Top 20 (+180)
