The Jacksonville Jaguars will be leading the draft later this month with pick No. 1 for the second consecutive time. And though things could change, it looks as though they won’t be trading back from the pick, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Like every team in the NFL, the Jags will be using the last few weeks to do their homework and bring prospects in for visits at their facility who can help plug the various holes on their roster. Each team is allowed to host up to 30 prospects over the coming weeks, but for the Jags, these visits will be especially huge as they need to acquire a strong draft class. Not only that, but they need to shake their struggles of identifying the right prospects as they’ve missed on what too many draft selections lately.
