With the calendar having turned to June, the 2022 NBA draft on Thursday, June 23 is now less than three weeks away. The stakes are high for the Houston Rockets, who have two picks in the first round.
The majority of mock drafts are currently projecting Duke forward Paolo Banchero to Houston with the No. 3 overall pick, which is the selection drawn by the Rockets from the NBA’s recent draft lottery.
However, there is much more uncertainty involving Houston’s pick at No. 17 overall (via Brooklyn), since prospects are moving up and down in the heart of the first round. Some took part in physical activities at the recent draft combine, which can alter their outlook in either direction.
With the combine in the books, any changes in the final weeks leading up to the draft will likely come as a result of interviews and private workouts with NBA teams. For now, here’s where things appear to stand.
