2022 NBA draft declaration tracker: Which NCAA players are turning pro?

The 2022 men’s NCAA tournament has concluded, which means many of the top college basketball players are beginning to announce their intentions to turn pro.

Players have until April 24 to decide if they will declare early entry for the NBA draft, and many have already made announcements. Last year, more than 300 players declared early entry for the draft because NCAA players were allowed an extra year of eligibility due to COVID-19.

That means seniors and underclassmen alike must declare for the draft early entry unless they have used their extra year of eligibility in 2021-22, or if they have already declared and then withdrawn from the draft twice before.

Although some early entry declarations are final decisions, others are simply “testing the waters” and may eventually go back to college. They have until June 1 to decide if they will remain in the draft or return to the NCAA.

Those players can use feedback from the NBA Undergraduate Advisory Committee, or directly from teams at the NBA Combine or G League Elite Camp, to make their decisions.

There are hundreds of announcements expected, but to sort that out, we’re going to give you a helpful list of the most notable names and if/when they are expected to hear their names on draft night.

This list will not include players who chose to play for the G League Ignite (Jaden Harden, Marjon Beauchamp, Michael Foster, etc.) or Overtime Elite (Jean Montero, Dom Barlow, etc.) because they are automatically eligible.

We will, however, provide daily updates on the latest declarations as they are announced.
