The Boston Celtics as a team have been assessed regarding their play to start the 2022-23 NBA season with the Global Rating metric created by HoopsHype’s Alberto De Roa as part of a H/H assessment of all the players in the league with said metric.
Designed to “combines players’ and teams’ statistics to rank players according to their productivity on the court,” the metric is not without its shortcomings (particularly so early in a season given several Celtics have yet to see much or any playing time), but also gives a solid overview of players in the league.
One player on Boston’s roster even cracks the top five of the league. Let’s take a look at where each Celtic fell in contrast to the rest of their teammates and the league.
