An online Loch Ness Monster Hunter believes he has captured another sighting of the mysterious beast after he managed to take a photo of a long black elongated shape on the surface of the loch. Irishman Eoin O'Faodhagain spends many hours scouring footage from the webcams facing the lochs and says he had his latest sighting on October 20.
And though these pictures have been barred from the Official Register unless they show incredible detail, Eoin was still keen to share his latest snap.
The Donegal resident said: "I captured a single photo on Thursday on the VILN Shoreland Lodges Webcam at Loch Ness at 12.40 pm
"I intended to get video footage but the object disappeared in seconds and never reappeared. I estimate the length of the creature to be 20 to 30 feet long, taking in the front of the left black object to the back of the 2nd object in alignment.
"It looked like a long black elongated massive shape, I suppose eel-like or serpentine-like and got a single photo off and then it was gone. The surface water in the area of the sighting looked relatively calm."
Knowing people might be sceptical of his latest sighting due to it being on webcam and not in person, Eoin added: "Some people may say it is only a wave, and I know waves are notorious at Loch Ness, but having observed them some only tend to dissipate up to a half an hour after first seen, this object was up and gone in seconds.
"It seemed to be heading north to the left when it emerged through the surface of the water and from observation of the photo there is a definite straight line in the water linking, I believe, both parts of the one object."
