We have a confession. When we hear the word T-shirt, we automatically think of short sleeves. We're betting that most people do the same. But there's actually a vast array of long-sleeve T-shirts that are essential building blocks of any wardrobe. Whether you want to rely on them as a base for when things get colder or want them to make a subtle statement all on their own, it's vital to have at least a handful on standby.

With the exception of stripes, we recommend eschewing prints and patterns. Aim for quiet luxury vibes. While investing in neutrals is a given, don't be afraid to shake things up a bit with the occasional pop of highly saturated color.
