Two women died in a house fire Tuesday night in West Englewood on the South Side.
Officials responded to an extra-alarm fire about 7:40 p.m. in the 7200 block of South Wolcott Avenue, Chicago fire and police said.
The women, 32 and 41, were found unresponsive with burns to their bodies, authorities said. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information was available.
