The sun has set 1923, as 1923 season 2 marked the end to this prequel series about the Dutton family.
The third Taylor Sheridan-created series that focuses specifically on the Duttons, following the present day Yellowstone and 1883, 1923 introduced a handful of new Duttons that quickly became fan favorites, as well as introduced some intriguing questions into the lore of the family.

1923 season 2 cast
Hollywood legends Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren lead the 1923 cast as Jacob and Cara Dutton, the heads of the Dutton ranch at the time of the series; Mirren was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance from season 1.
Making up the rest of the Dutton family in the prequel series are Brandon Sklenar (It Ends With Us) as Spencer Dutton, Julia Schlaepfer (The Politician) as his wife Alex, Darren Mann (Animal Kingdom) as Jack Dutton and Michelle Randolph (Landman) as Elizabeth Dutton.
Also returning for the new season are Brian Geraghty as Zane, Aminah Nieves as Teonna Rainwater, Jerome Flynn as Banner Creighton, Sebastian Roché as Father Renaud and Timothy Dalton as Donald Whitfield.
A new addition to the cast in season 2 included Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter: New Blood), who played Marshal Mammie Fossett.

"In the second season of 1923, a cruel winter brings new challenges and unfinished business to Jacob and Cara back at Dutton ranch. With harsh conditions and adversaries threatening to end the Dutton legacy, Spencer embarks on an arduous journey home, racing against time to save his family in Montana. Meanwhile, Alexandra sets off on her own harrowing trans-Atlantic journey to find Spencer and reclaim their love."
