A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Sunday evening in Washington Park.
Tyshawn D. Crawford was near a parking lot in the 5900 block of South Indiana around 6 p.m. when someone shot him in the abdomen, Chicago Police said.
He was rushed to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
No arrests were reported.
