Heavy rain is expected across Leeds today from early in the morning until late in the evening.
Residents will need their best raincoat and umbrella throughout the day as rain is predicted for 15 hours. Winds are expected to pick up throughout the day and persistent rain will move across areas of the city from the west.
The rain will be particularly heavy at times, and grey clouds are expected, especially over the western hills. The maximum temperature is predicted to be 12C.

On Monday, Janurary 9, the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for flooding. The Met Office say the flooding of some homes and properties is likely, public transport times may be impacted, spray and flooding on roads may impact journey times and interruption to power supply and other services is possible.
