14-Year-Old Accused In Apalachee High School Shooting To Appear

Colt Gray, the 14-year-old accused of a tragic shooting incident at Apalachee High School, is set to make his first court appearance on Friday. The appearance is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. local time at the Barrow County Superior Court in Georgia.

Currently held at the Gainesville Regional Youth Detention Center, Gray will be appearing virtually for the court proceedings. A spokesperson from the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice confirmed this information.

Authorities have indicated that Gray will be facing murder charges in connection with the shooting that resulted in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to nine others. The community remains shocked and saddened by the events that unfolded at Apalachee High School.
