It used to be that the NFL deadline came and went with minimal fanfare.
Not anymore! The wheeling and dealing has already begun in 2022, and there are plenty of intriguing names being thrown around in trade rumors.
We’ve given you one name per NFL team who could be a good candidate to be dealt, along with five deals we’d like to see as Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. ET approaches.
This is a different list: We’ve seen a bunch of these names thrown around on trade rumors and reports, and we’ve collected a bunch of them to put in one place. Here they are:
1
DE Clelin Ferrell, Las Vegas Raiders

The former fourth overall pick in the 2019 draft has been just OK in his career but could be a useful pass rusher elsewhere.
2
QB Mason Rudolph, Pittsburgh Steelers

Remember when there was talk he might be the start in Pittsburgh? Not anymore. Maybe there’s a QB-starved team looking to see if he’s a starter.
3
RB Cam Akers, Los Angeles Rams

A change in scenery may pay off dividends for a team that deals for the RB.
4
WR Chase Claypool, Pittsburgh Steelers

A talented player in a situation that might not be right for him. The struggling Steelers could get some serious draft capital back for him.
5
WR Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos

If the Broncos decide to sell at the deadline, they could get some good return for the talented wideout.
6
DE Brian Burns, Carolina Panthers

Another pass rusher who a desperate contender might want to grab.
7
RB Zack Moss, Buffalo Bills

He hasn’t worked out well for the Bills, so he could be dealt elsewhere.
8
RB Kareem Hunt, Cleveland Browns

There were trade rumblings before the season, and with the Browns struggling, they might end up dealing him now.
9
RB Ronald Jones, Kansas City Chiefs

He hasn’t played much this season, but it wasn’t long ago that he was pretty good!
10
DE Bradley Chubb, Denver Broncos

If the Broncos decide to tank? The pass-rusher could be worth a ton.
11
WR Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans

If the Texans are tanking again, they should deal him.
12
TE Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins

A tight end who could help immediately.
13
WR Elijah Moore, New York Jets

His tweets have indicated he’s not happy with the lack of targets this year, and then there was talk of a recent trade request. Hmm.
14
William Jackson III, Washington Commanders

Sounds like he wants out.
