Wolves have become the latest club to join the exclusive group of teams to win over 1,000 games in the all-time English league table.
Bruno Lage’s men beat relegation-threatened Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday thanks to a goal from captain Conor Coady.
The goal puts the Midlands club back into contention for a European place after ending a run of three straight defeats with a 4-0 drubbing of Watford.
But it also represented a significant moment in the club's history after hitting the historic milestone on Merseyside thanks to Coady’s 48th-minute effort.
According to data published by WorldFootball.net, the Premier League outfit have now joined the 13 other teams that have recorded 1,000 wins.
But they have some way to go before making their way to the top of the list.
Liverpool currently sit at the summit with 2,008 wins after reaching their own milestone by beating Newcastle 3-1 at Anfield.
The Reds are in a league of their own at the top, with a margin of 74 separating them and Arsenal, who trail in second place on 1,934 victories.
Surprisingly, Everton — despite managing only one win in their last 21 games in the league — are third on 1,873 wins due to the club's rich history.
They are 10 ahead of 20-time English champions Manchester United, who would surely catch the Toffees if they were to be relegated to the Championship this season.
In fact, the Merseyside club are way out in front when comparing the total number of games played on 4,620.

Aston Villa are fifth on the list of clubs with 1,679 wins, some way ahead of Manchester City (1,527) and Tottenham (1,458).
European champions Chelsea are gradually catching up their rivals on 1,442 triumphs, ahead of Newcastle on 1,367, and Sunderland complete the top 10.
Given that all four of the next teams ahead of Wolves are currently playing football outside of the top flight, it could give the Midlands outfit a chance to catch them up.
Wolves already have 14 wins from 29 games this season, which makes getting another 17 before the end of next season a realistic target to overtake Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers.
The next closest team to reaching a millennium of match wins are Sheffield Wednesday on 980.
However, the Owls are currently plying their trade in League One and appear unlikely to add to their tally any time soon, with West Ham United the next top-flight side on 882.
