14 days till the Cardinals’ season opener: Stats for No. 14

We are in countdown mode to the start of the season. The Arizona Cardinals will kick off the 2023 regular season in 14 days on September 10 on the road against the Washington Commanders.

It will be the official beginning of the Jonathan Gannon era as head coach.

Roy Green had 14 touchdown receptions in 1983, which is tied for the second-highest single-season total in franchise history. Mal Kutner also had 14 in 1948.

14 catches in a game

The second-most receptions in a single game in Cardinals history is 14. DeAndre Hopkins did it in his Arizona debut in 2020. Anquan Boldin also had 14 catches in a game in 2007 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Pat Tilley, Sonny Randle and Bobby Joe Conrad all had 14 100-yard receiving games in their time with the Cardinals.

Stump Mitchell had 14 games of 100 yards rushing or more. That is the second-most in franchise history. Ottis Anderson holds the record with 34.
