13 campsites in Wales where you can fall asleep to the sound of the sea

After months of lockdown, we can finally start to look forward to the months ahead as restrictions start to ease.

When it comes to tourism, self contained accommodation was able to reopen on March 27 - initially only to visitors living in Wales due to UK and Welsh Government travel rules.

This is until April 12 when people from England can travel to Wales and vice versa.

There's no better time to start planning your next trip, especially now self contained accommodation is open. The Welsh Government confirmed that accommodation like tents on campsites - where facilities are shared with other guests - will be in the mix at the next review in May, with the current plan for them to reopen ahead of the Bank Holiday week.

And with Wales being blessed with some seriously stunning coastlines, it's no surprise so many people head to the shore.
