The country registered 24 more Covid-19 fatalities and 13,182 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Wednesday morning.
There were 13,043 local cases and 139 imported ones.
The 24 new fatalities were between the ages of 32 and 95 years old.
On Tuesday, 8,571 Covid-19 patients left hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.
Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 2,531,051 Covid-19 cases, including 307,616 cases this year, with 2,409,877 complete recoveries to date.
The death toll stood at 22,344 since the beginning of the pandemic, including 646 so far this year.
