12 stories you may have missed this week that are worth a read

It's been a busy week and if you've had your eyes on the cost of living crisis, the war in Ukraine and the P&O situation - then there are a few things you may have missed. Some of them are light-hearted, some of them are informative - but hopefully you'll find something here that may have passed you by.

Starting off, Dr Hilary was back on Good Morning Britain and he warned that we could see the return of Covid restrictions as cases are now surging again across the country. Also this week we brought you the story of a family who found someone had parked on their drive near the airport for four days - and police were powerless to help.

Covid has been knocked off the top of the news agenda, but scientists have warned that the latest strain is among the most infectious diseases ever seen. And news that seems to have passed many people by covers the new rules on cheap chocolate and crisps in shops- your meal deal is under threat.

Among a number of tribunals and court hearings this week this was one of the most unusual. A man has been awarded £90,000 after being sacked for being unable to urinate at work on demand. And you may have seen this mentioned before, but there are just days left until the big update on mobile phone rules for drivers.

At the start of the week the doors v wheels debate was everything. The creator had his say on the answer ad explained how it started. And if you've been watching Tinder Swindler on Netflix, one woman explained how the same thing happened to her - and she got back more money than she lost.

Do you know which driving offences will cost you the most? This article finds out what you are likely to be fined - and where in the country will hit you hardest. And in other driving news did you know Highway Code rule 123 - it can save you money on your petrol or diesel.

And finally - one more piece of driving legislation clarified, and that amazing story of a woman making £50,000 selling used Primark tights on OnlyFans.
