This Mother's Day, Manchester bars and restaurants are pulling out all of the stops to ensure your mum has a fantastic day out. For the annual event, this year falling on Sunday, March 19, the leading ladies in your life can bag themselves free drinks, desserts and even goodie bags at certain city spots.
To celebrate all things mum, there are plenty of places in Manchester next weekend looking to spoil your mum to a pampered dining experience, with free glasses of fizz or discounts off the bill. Some are even offering mums go free offers.
But, with Mother's Day being just over a week away, it's important to pre-book your table, as at many of these spots, it's a condition of the offer - and you wouldn't want to miss out!

So here are some of the places in town offering up some of the best deals and discounts for Mother's Day 2023.
Impossible
What will fill your mum with more glee than a delicious Sunday roast minus the washing up?
At Impossible, Manchester’s mums can enjoy a beef rump, pork belly or mushroom wellington, served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and plenty of gravy - for FREE.
With groups of four or more, mum eats free on March 19, and will also receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco, saving up to £19.
Provence
What’s better than toasting a nice glass of fizz to celebrate the special woman in your life?
Provence, Spinningfields’ newest all-day wine bar and coffee house is offering mums a free glass of fizz on Mother’s Day when you pre-book via the Provence website here.
Almost Famous
Show a special lady in your life how much she means to you with a free drink at Almost Famous. They are offering an exclusive cocktail especially for Mother’s Day, so mums should head down on March 19 to redeem their free drink.
The Lawn Club
Cosy Spinningfields bar The Lawn Club is offering a free cocktail for mums this Mother’s Day when pre-booking any table at The Lawn Club on Mothering Sunday.
The offer is valid for all booking types, including pergola tables, bottomless brunches and Lawn Domes.
Browns
Browns Brasserie is hosting Sunday lunch with all the trimmings for Mother’s Day, but if you complete the form on their website, mum will also receive a complimentary Cosmopolitan or virgin Espresso Martini with her meal - she deserves it, after all.
Bill's
Bill’s is offering free dessert for mums on Mother's Day this year. On Sunday, March 19, mums will be able to indulge in a complimentary sweet treat in the form of one of the desserts on the menu at Bill’s.
Desserts on the menu include the famous Bill’s Flowerpot, Mini cinnamon doughnuts, Spiced Apple and mincemeat crumble, the Salted Caramel brownie pot, Banoffee cheesecake pot or Triple chocolate brownie.
A main meal will have to be purchased in order to get the free dessert, and booking in advance is advised.
James Martin Manchester
Mums can be spoiled with a slap-up family lunch courtesy of celebrity chef James Martin.
Children can say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ with a fabulous meal - but mum will even get a free glass of fizz on arrival, hot chocolate and Baileys macaroons for dessert and a glass of Baileys to finish.
Peter Street Kitchen
Whether you prefer Japanese, Mexican or a selection of both, the award-winning Peter Street Kitchen is the ultimate setting to indulge and unwind on Mothering Sunday. Slug and Lettuce

20 Stories has partnered up with skincare brand Kiehl’s to offer a luxury experience for mums this Mother’s Day.
Families can enjoy live music as you tuck into the Sunday or A La Carte menu along with a special Mother’s Day Cocktail high above Manchester.
Plus, all mothers will receive a Kiehl’s goodie bag including their best-selling products, which will be given out on a first come first served basis while stock lasts.
La Bandera
All we’ve heard is ‘kids eat free’ for the last 12 months, so La Bandera are switching it up and giving mums a meal pass this March.
To qualify for the offer, the table must be pre-booked and order six or more tapas - and there’s a maximum of one offer per table.
Then, three of the cheapest tapas of the Canarian cuisine will be knocked off the bill - plus a ‘couple of special surprises’ up for grabs, too.
Zouk
Zouk tea bar thinks mums deserve to feel extra special every day, but especially on Mother's Day, so they’re going to make sure she feels pampered with a complimentary glass of prosecco.
