There are a number of jobs up for grabs at Leeds Bradford Airport right now, after a summer of travel chaos due to many airports facing staff shortages.

KLM pilots were spotted earlier this month cleaning their own windows at the airport amid the staffing crisis faced by the entire air travel industry. Aviation Security Officers
Many people have faced hour-long queues at Leeds Bradford this summer. This role involves searching bags, people and vehicles.
You would also screen cabin and hold luggage, check travel documentation for passengers, and undertake patrols of the terminal and grounds.
There are part-time and permanent positions - full-time would pay £19,813.20.
Terminal Operations Assistants
This role involves the movement of people to and from car parks and managing car parking services, as well as helping passengers with reduced mobility.
You will also be trained so you can assist with security when needed.
Security Trainer
This role involves training all the security officers to the proper level. You will create and deliver training materials and make sure officers are up to scratch.
AvSec Compliance Auditor
This role is responsible for monitoring security compliance across the airport and making sure requirements are met.
HR Advisor
This person will be helping 'business recovery' by supporting the airport's HR department in working with employees.
This role pays between £28,000 to £29,000.
Operations Planning Analyst
The Operations Planning Analyst manages planning to make the airport run as efficiently as possible. The role is also responsible for making sure there is staff for compliance tasks.
The role manages the allocation on the roster for new starters and leavers.
Lounge Hosts (Front of House)
This is a customer service role, where you will greet and check passengers in to lounges. You will also make sure the lounge is tidy and serve drinks from the lounge bars.
Lounge Hosts (Back of House)
This role also involves working in the lounge, but focuses more on helping with preparing and cleaning in the lounge. You will replenish snacks and refreshments in the lounge.
Lounge chef
In this role, the chef is responsible for cooking food for passengers in the lounges according to agreed menus. You will also manage and maintain food stocks and assist with kitchen clearing.
Cleaning staff
The airport also wants to recruit cleaning staff, who will ensure cleanliness across the airport. It will include sweeping, rubbish disposal, moping, hoovering, scrubbing floors, dusting, wiping and cleaning toilets.
Maintenance engineer (Multi Skilled)
This engineer will assist in the maintenance and repairing of things within the terminal and outside of it.
Retail Sales Associate - Leeds United Store
This person would work in the Leeds United Store at the airport in a customer service type role. You would work on the tills and behind the scenes with stock.
