By our unofficial count, a dozen former Denver Broncos players will be involved in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs this weekend.
In the AFC, nose tackle Kyle Peko and punter Brett Kern of the Tennessee Titans will take on the Cincinnati Bengals and quarterback Brandon Allen (who won’t be playing unless something happens to starter Joe Burrow).
Elsewhere in the conference, the Buffalo Bills will feature wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie when they face the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the NFC, the Green Bay Packers will play wide receiver Juwann Winfree, offensive lineman Billy Turner and cornerback Isaac Yiadom against the San Francisco 49ers and receiver/returner River Cracraft.
And perhaps most notably, the Los Angeles Rams will feature outside linebackers Von Miller and Justin Hollins against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and fellow edge defender Shaq Barrett.
It appears that the Chiefs are the only team still in the playoffs who do not have a former Bronco on their roster. As if fans in Denver didn’t have enough reasons to root against KC!
