Callum Thomas Powell
(Cal) On 25th May 2022, Callum Thomas Powell aged 28 years passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family. A beloved and cherished Son to Keith and Nicola. A treasured Brother and best friend to Chloe. A loved and loving Grandson to Peter and Pauline McDonald and the late May and Tommy Powell, dearest nephew, cousin and friend to many. On the 19th May 2021, Callum and his family received the most devastating news that Callum, at the age of 27, had stage 4 Gastro-Oesophageal Cancer. Prior to this Cal was extremely healthy; regularly climbing mountains and running half marathons. Cal fought the disease until the very end and sadly passed away after 12 brave months. Throughout his journey he has shown unbelievable mental strength and had such a positive outlook, always thinking of others before himself and wanting to help others around him. Callum was so special especially to his family and friends and certainly made a lasting impression on everyone he met. We are all so proud of him and our lives will never be the same again. He will forever be loved and missed by all that knew him. Callum's Funeral service will be held on Thursday 16th June 2022 at St Thomas and All Saints Church Ellesmere Port, Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port,CH65 6UW at 2pm followed by a private committal service to be attended by close friends and family members. (Lyons) Mum to Debbie and Joanne, Mother in Law to Kevin and Nan to Jake and Emily, big sister to Joan and auntie to all her nieces and nephews. Mum passed away in the Royal Liverpool University Hospital on 4/6/22. We all miss you so much Mum. The centre of our family is no longer here, we are heartbroken but glad you are no longer in pain and are with Dad and our Ann now. Thank you to all the lovely staff on Ward 3B of The Royal who looked after Mum so well. Mum's service will be at Anfield Crematorium at 10.am on Monday 27 June.
