An 11-year-old girl named Louise was found dead in a wooded area near her school in Épinay-sur-Orge, France, after she went missing on her way home from André Maurois middle school. Louise disappeared on Friday afternoon, triggering a search operation involving tracking dogs, helicopters, and drones. Tragically, her lifeless body was discovered in the Bois des Templiers later that night.
An autopsy revealed that Louise had sustained multiple wounds inflicted with a sharp object, leading to the initiation of a murder investigation for the 'murder of a minor under 15.' Authorities detained a 23-year-old man and his 20-year-old girlfriend initially, who were later released. Subsequently, a 23-year-old man and his 55-year-old mother were arrested, with the younger man suspected of the murder and his mother accused of failing to report the crime.

The French Minister of Education, Élisabeth Borne, expressed her condolences to Louise's family, classmates, and teachers, emphasizing the need for investigators and the justice system to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident. The murder investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to bring justice for Louise and her loved ones.
