Or if dancing isn't your thing, you can sit and enjoy your food and drinks while listening to live music.

Dine at one of the city's oldest Italian restaurants

This traditional Italian restaurant is the perfect location for a romantic meal.

The authentic food and décor will make you feel like you’re dining in a quaint restaurant on a bustling street in Italy, not on Stanley Street in Liverpool.

Tuck into fish and chips on the beach

If the weather permits, take a trip to Crosby beach or head over the River Mersey to West Kirby in Wirral to enjoy a romantic stroll on the beach.

Then devour some delicious fish and chips from The Good Catch (Crosby) or Marigolds (West Kirby) while overlooking the sea.

Get competitive at Ghetto Golf

A date where there’s competition involved is always exciting.

Ghetto Golf allows you and your date to play crazy golf while enjoying a selection of drinks. It’s the perfect activity if you’re on a first date as you don’t have to worry about there being any awkward silences, plus it’s a good way of finding out if your date is competitive.

Of course it’s also heaps of fun if you take your partner of many years.

Test your teamwork at an escape room

For a more unusual but fun date, why not give Breakout Liverpool a visit?

It's the perfect way of finding out if you can work well as a team.

Enjoy afternoon tea with a view

Afternoon tea has become hugely popular over the years with a lot of venues offering it, but Panoramic 34 ’s is that little bit more special due to the incredible views over the city and the River Mersey.
