If you’re going to take inspiration from a fellow MLB player and channel him by taking his good luck charm — or fashion statement, or both? — then you can’t do better than wearing a pearl necklace like Joc Pederson did last year as he helped the Atlanta Braves win a World Series.
Maybe that’s what Bryce Harper is thinking.
The Philadelphia Phillies superstar returned to the field this week after returning from injury, and it appears he’s got a necklace that looks somewhat like Pederson’s that he’s wearing.
And he confirmed he had just bought them to Athletic Phillies reporter Matt Gelb:
